Leeza Almedom

Research Assistant

I am a Research Assistant at the Oxford Centre for Human Brain Activity, part of the Wellcome Centre for Integrative Neuroimaging, under the supervision of Prof. Kia Nobre and Prof. Mark Woolrich working on the new NTAD study (New Therapeutics in Alzheimer’s Disease).

As a Research Assistant in the Brain and Cognition Lab on the NTAD study, we are combining both established and novel markers to identify a marker set for measuring outcome in prodromal disease, through the use of clinical assessments, neuropsychological tests, PET, MRI and E/MEG imaging.

I completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology and went on to complete an MSc in Clinical Neuroscience at Kings College London. Prior to working at Oxford University, I was a Research Worker within the Memory Research Group mainly working on clinical drug trials at Kings College London.
