Jing (Hellen) Yuan

MSc student

Hellen is an MSc student in the Brain and Cognition Lab, supervised by Prof Kia Nobre. She is currently working with Dr Nahid Zokaei, exploring whether pupil responses can reflect expectations and information in the prioritised state of working memory.

Hellen completed a BSc in Psychology at Durham University before coming to Oxford. During her time at Durham, Hellen worked as a student research assistant for a project on colour perception and two projects on human spatial learning. Hellen is interested in the interaction between visual perception, attention and working memory.
