Andre is a visiting researcher from Universidade Federal do ABC (UFABC) working with Kia Nobre.

Andre is interested in how we perceive and use time in different domains. His research combines methodologies such as visual psychophysics, modeling and EEG/MEG recordings.

He completed his undergraduate degree in psychology in 2005 at University of São Paulo and his Ph.D. in the same University in 2012, with an internship at the University of Oxford. From 2011 to 2012 he was a Postdoctoral Associate at the Institute of Radiology, FMUSP. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Center for Mathematics, Computation and Cognition at Federal University of ABC (UFABC) and head of the Timing and Cognition Lab in his home University.
