Every May, Pint of Science brings cutting-edge research to local pubs around the UK, making science accessible and enjoyable to the public. This year, Dr Ludovica Griffanti was among the scientists who spoke at the sold-out 'Beautiful Mind' session.
Dr. Griffanti is an imaging neuroscientist based at the FMRIB Centre and OHBA. She described her latest research on using advanced MRI analysis to understand risk for Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease during her talk titled 'A window on ageing and dementia'. Of her experience, Dr Griffanti said "I found a relaxed and friendly environment, which was prefect for my first talk to a lay audience. Great experience, highly recommended!"
