A number of neuroscientists based at OHBA are contributing to the Brain Diaries - an exhibition and a series of events organised by Oxford Neuroscience in collaboration with the Oxford Museum of Natural History. The Brain Diaries aim to show how modern neuroscience has transformed our understanding of the brain across the lifespan. The exhibition and events are taking place at the Museum of Natural History and other venues around Oxford from 10th of March, 2017 to 1st of January, 2018.

Some of the events involving members of OHBA include:

Friday 10th March, 2.30-3.30pm - Oxford International Women’s Festival - Brain Spotlight

An opportunity to meet female neuroscientists and find out about your brain. 

Saturday 18th March, Lunchtime Lecture at 1pm - Art and Neuroscience: Making Images, Understanding the Brain

Artist Sigune Hamann discusses her work and its relation to neuroscience with Professor Kia Nobre. Book

Saturday 25th March, 10am-1pm - Dementia Awareness Day

Short talks and information stands, refreshments. Plus Dementia Question Time. The event is held at the John Radcliffe Hospital. Book 

Wednesday 29th March, 6.30-7.30pm - Fixing the Brain Before It’s Broken

Professor Clare Mackay explains how imaging techniques can help develop more effective treatments for brain disease. Book
