3 Tesla Human MRI Scanner

The WIN's workhorse human MRI scanners are two modern 3 Tesla Siemens Prisma machines - one at OHBA, and one at FMRIB.

Magnetoencephalography (MEG)

The OHBA Magnetoencephalography system measures the magnetic signature of brain activity with millisecond precision.

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is a non-invasive method used to stimulate small regions of the brain.

Electroencephalography (EEG)

OHBA has a number of EEG systems that can be used alone, or alongside other methods.

Transcranial Electrical Stimulation (tES)

Transcranial Electrical Stimulation (tES) involves passing a small electric current through the skull and the underlying cortex via two rubber electrodes.

Oxford Health BRC

OHBA is proud to be a part of the Oxford Health NIHR Biomedical Research Centre and leading the setting up of the first Brain Health Centre.
